Without a Doubt the Best Act of Kindness

Apparently this is what happens when I am just myself!  Please read this amazing e-mail my recycle company manager sent out earlier today.  I've already raised $55 because of it! Dear Sunflower Customers, I would like to tell you about one of our customers who stands out because of her focus on, and dedication to the environment.   When Emily Reno was in junior high school her parents bought her a year’s worth of recycling service for their household.  When the year was up, so was the present.  Ever since, she has paid for her family’s recycling out of her own pocket and that strikes me as remarkable.  How many kids do something like that? Emily’s greenness didn’t stop there.  At Free State High School she was the president of the environmental club and now she’s a freshman at Johnson County Community College hoping to transfer to the Environmental Studies program at KU.  She’s paying for all her schooling, too.
